Old Gods of Appalachia

Welcome to the Holler

Well hey there, family. It's good to see you. Why don't you pull up a chair and sit a spell? Can we get you something to eat? Maybe a nice, hot cup of carfree?

Now that you're all settled in, allow us to show you 'round.

FIRST THINGS FIRST: Where to find the Holler

Click here to log in to the Holler dashboard. Go ahead and log yourself in if you aren't already.

NEXT UP: Add your feeds to your favorite podcast app

The first thing you'll notice when you log in over at the Holler is this glowing button over the Holler logo, either at the top of the page in your mobile browser, or the top left of your desktop browser. Go ahead and click that button.

You'll see a list of links that will quickly connect you to many of the most popular podcatchers, like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Podcast Addict. Select your favorite to add your feeds, easy peasy! If the app you use isn't on the list, you can click "RSS" at the bottom to find the links you need to add our feeds to your app (just like we used to do over on Patreon).

DON'T FORGET: Turn on email notifications

You may miss out on important information if you don't get notifications when we post to the Holler. Here's how to make sure those are turned on.

STEP 1: Make sure you're logged in at the Holler dashboard.

STEP 2: Click on the little person-shaped icon at the top right of your screen. Then click "Profile" in the drop-down menu.

It looks like this in a mobile browser:

Or like this on your desktop:

STEP 3 for Mobile: Click on the navigation menu at the top left of your screen.

Then select "Nofications" from the drop-down menu.

STEP 3 for Desktop: Select "Notifications" from the menu on the left side of your browser window.

STEP 4: Check your email notifications settings. It should say "You are currently receiving email notifications." If not, click the purple button to subscribe.

TRANSCRIPTS: Where to find them

Transcripts are now linked conveniently within the notes for every episode, be it an ad-free version of a regular season episode or a subscriber exclusive.
